Victorious

I am the Victor today-
And I was always He.
Chasing phantoms down-
Naming the Names
Of demons dogging me!
Terrors were ofttimes
Painted as delights-
Yet frightful still,
They occupied all life.
They were merciless,
But left me mercy-filled.
And I turned the tide on tears.
Years of desiring and of Visions
Burned out through the dim light.
Now I see they brought me home,
Guided to gliding into this place-
Manifest in rhyme.
Down the long and jagged Road,
Struggling both against and for
Doors opened...
On a tempered and Awakened me-
Arriving just in time!
